Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your stationery. Like, really love it. But because every single item at DearDay Studio is custom-printed just for you, our return policy is a little different from a big box store.

Here is the breakdown:

1. Can I return my order?

Because your items are personalized with your names and dates, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. We can’t exactly sell a wedding invite with "Sarah & John" on it to another couple named Emily & Mike!

2. The "Typo" Clause (Please Read!)

We know how easy it is to miss a typo. That is why we send a digital proof for every order.

  • Important: Once you reply "Approved" to your proof, your design goes immediately to print.
  • If you find a typo after you approved the proof: We cannot offer a refund or free reprint. (We feel your pain, though! If this happens, please email us—we often offer a steep discount on a replacement order to help you fix it.)
  • If the error is OUR fault (e.g., we printed the wrong date even though your proof was correct), we will reprint and ship a new batch immediately, 100% on us.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your package arrives and the cards are bent or soaked, or the printing looks wonky, we’ve got your back.

  • Please email support@deardaystudio.com within 3 days of delivery.
  • Include a photo of the damage.
  • We will send a free replacement ASAP. No need to mail the damaged ones back.

4. Cancellations

Change your mind?

  • You can cancel your order for a full refund within 1 hour of purchase.
  • After that, we may have already started the design work. If you cancel after the design process has started (but before printing), a design fee ($15-$20) may be deducted from your refund.
  • Once the order is in production (printed), it cannot be canceled.

5. A Note on Colors

We do our best to represent colors accurately. However, screens (phones/computers) are backlit and can make colors look slightly brighter than they appear on matte paper. Slight color variations are normal and not considered a defect.
