Return policy

At DearDay Studio, we value your satisfaction and strive to provide high-quality products. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. RETURN WINDOW

You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unwashed, and unused.
  • The item must be in its original packaging with all tags attached.
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase (order number and confirmation email).

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards.
  • Items purchased during a "Final Sale" or clearance event.
  • Personalized or custom-printed items (unless there is a manufacturing defect).

3. RETURN PROCESS

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our support team at support@deardaystudio.com with the subject line: "Return Request - [Your Order Number]".
  2. Provide Evidence: Please attach clear photos or videos showing the product's condition or the defect.
  3. Return Authorization: Once approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or the address on the package without prior authorization.

4. RETURN SHIPPING FEES

  • For Defective or Incorrect Items: If the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, damaged during shipping, or printing defect), DearDay Studio will cover all return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label or issue a full refund/replacement at no extra cost to you.
  • For Customer Remorse (Change of mind/Wrong size/color ordered): The customer is responsible for paying the actual shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. RESTOCKING FEES

We believe in transparent pricing. DearDay Studio does NOT charge any restocking fees ($0.00) for returned items.

6. REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

7. EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at support@deardaystudio.com.

Shipping

We know you are excited to get your stationery (and honestly, we’re eager for you to see it!). Because every order is custom-designed and printed just for you, getting it to your door is a multi-step process.

Here is what to expect:

1. The Timeline (Please Read!)

Since we don't pull pre-made boxes off a shelf, "Shipping Time" is actually Production Time + Delivery Time.

  • Step 1: Proofing (1 Business Day): After you order, we design your card and email you a digital proof. We do not print until you reply "Approved." (So please keep an eye on your inbox!).
  • Step 2: Production (2-3 Business Days): Once approved, your order goes to our professional printers.
  • Step 3: Shipping (3-6 Business Days): The carrier picks it up and brings it to you.

Total Time: generally, you will have your order in hand about 1 to 2 weeks after purchase.

2. Shipping Rates

To keep things simple, we offer flat-rate shipping for all US orders. No surprises at checkout!

  • Standard Shipping (3-6 business days): $6.95 flat rate. (This covers handling, sturdy packaging to prevent bent corners, and tracking).
  • Free Shipping: We offer FREE Standard Shipping on all orders over $100. (Perfect for full wedding suites or large events!)
  • Expedited Shipping (2-3 business days): $19.95. (Choose this if you are in a rush and need your order prioritized).

3. Carriers & Tracking

We ship via USPS or UPS depending on the size of the order.

  • As soon as your order leaves our studio, we’ll send you an email with a tracking number.
  • Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking link to update in the carrier's system.

4. My package says "Delivered," but it’s not here?

Ugh, we hate when this happens.

  • First, check with neighbors or look around your porch/mailbox. Carriers sometimes hide packages to prevent theft.
  • If it’s still missing after 24 hours, please contact the carrier (USPS/UPS) directly with your tracking number.
  • Please note: Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, DearDay Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items. However, email us at support@deardaystudio.com, and we will do our best to help you file a claim or find a solution.

5. Wrong Address?

Please, double-check your shipping address at checkout!

  • If you notice a mistake, email orders@deardaystudio.com immediately.
  • If we haven't shipped it yet, we can fix it.
  • If the package has already shipped to the wrong address provided, we cannot offer a refund or free replacement.
